The 2012 WCC basketball tournament schedule (West Coast Conference) is changed from 2011 with the addition of BYU to the conference this season. This year, the tournament is sponsored by Zappos.com and will be held starting February 29^th, 2012 and run through the championship game on Monday, March 5^th, 2012. The tournament will feature the opening round game between the 8^th and 9^th seeds. The winners then proceed to play against the 5^th seed on Thursday as well as the sixth and seventh seeds taking on each other. The Friday games will then feature the 3 and 4 seeds playing the winners with the top two seeds getting byes to the semifinal round.  No games will be played on Sunday, March 4^th, with the championship games being held on Monday, March 5^th, 2012. The times and specific TV networks are TBD until released by the league. The winner of the tournament will obtain the automatic bid to the 2012 NCAA tournament.

2012 WCC Basketball Tournament Venue

The 2012 WCC tournament will be held at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The venue also hosts the WAC tourney and is normally home to the UNLV Rebels. The arena can seat more than 7,400 fans for sporting events and first opened on May 25^th, 2003. The availability of all-session ticket packages will be determined by the league after December 15^th, 2011. Limited, single-session tickets will go on sale February 27^th, 2012 for men’s and women’s tournament games scheduled for the venue.
