The 2012 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament schedule kicks off on March 17th, 2012 and concludes on April 3rd, 2012. This year’s tournament will have the Women’s Final Four played at the Pepsi Center located in Denver, Colorado. The Women’s Tourney has the same format as the men’s, but does not include the First Four. As a result, 64 teams receive bids for the conference with the same total number of automatic qualifying bids as the men’s tournament; 31.

Unlike the men’s tournament, the Women’s tournament names the Regionals for the city vice the region of play or importance and has done so since 2005. The 2012 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament Regionals are scheduled from March 24th to March 27th, 2012. Sites scheduled for regional play include:
