The 2011 WAC Men’s Basketball Tournament will be held March 7th through March 10th at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The winner of the WAC postseason tournament will obtain an automatic bid to the 2012 NCAA basketball tournament. The top 8 teams from the WAC regular season qualify for the post-season tournament. The specific game times and network schedules are tentative until confirmed by the WAC and are based on the 2011 tournament schedule.
2012 WAC Basketball Tournament Venue
The Orleans Arena is home to the Las Vegas Wranglers ice hockey team as well as the UNLV Rebels basketball team. IT will also serve as the host of the 2012 WAC basketball tournament and seats over 7,400 spectators for sporting and other events. The arena opened on May 25th, 2003 and also hosts the West Coast Conference’s basketball tournament.
