The 2nd round of the 2010 NCAA Tournament got off to almost as an exciting start as the first day so far. We’ve seen the Cornell Big Red upset Temple, Minnesota play Xavier tough, Purdue hold off the upset big of Siena, and West Virginia go 0-11 until they found their groove against #15 Morgan State. The following are the NCAA Basketball Tournament 2010 scores for March 19th. We’ll update these throughout the remainder of the day and evening until the last game is played on the final day of the 1st round of the NCAA Tournament.

#15 Morgan State 50 vs #2 West Virginia 77
West Virginia missed their first 11 field goal attempts against Morgan State, but turned it on behind sophomore forward Kevin Joones who scored 17 points to help them ultimately blow out Morgan State.
#12 Cornell 78 vs #5 Temple 65
#12 ranked Cornell pulled the upset over Temple with a relatively easy 78-65 win over #5 Temple. They will take on the winner of the Wisconsin and Wofford game. Cornell was led by Louis Dale (21 points), Ryan Wittman (20 points), and Jeff Foot (16 points and 8 rebounds) in the win over Temple.
#11 Minnesota 54 vs #6 Xavier 65
Jordan Crawford scored 28 points for Xavier in their 65-54 win over Minnesota. This is the 4th straight year that Xavier has made the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament.
#13 Siena 64 vs #4 Purdue 72
Purdue survived Siena even though many picked Siena in the upset for their bracket picks. JaJuan Johnson led the way for Purdue with 23 points.
