The 2011 ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament returns to Greensboro, North Carolina again in 2011 from Thursday March 10th through Sunday March 13th. The winner of the tournament will obtain the ACC’s automatic bid to the 2011 NCAA Tournament. The following is the 2011 ACC Basketball Tournament Schedule and notional TV schedule (based on 2010 until released by the ACC).

No way Duke is gonna be out by the elite eight. Are you thinking of the same team? And if Duke gets a one seed they fully deserve it. UNC is too inconsistent to even be contenders for the NCAA March Madness Title.

Kyle I like the comment bout Hansborough Indoor Stadium. Our heels have worked very hard this year to get where they are. Duke fans have been talking smack all year. I have heard smack from my wife and daughter all year and now, not so much LOLOLOL. Love to hear them duke fans be silent.

Say what you want bout us UNC fans but no matter what, we have the best team amd by far the best coach. Coach Roy Williams is the man. With him there is no mistaken who is better. Yeah I’m a little biased. We did not come all this way for nothing.

@ Jason…What???? listen, there is no doubt that Roy Williams is a GREAT coach…however, Coach K will be the winningest coach in college basketball history in the very early games of next year if not this year….So that is not an accurate statement. And Duke does not have a great team. (they rarely do) But what they do have, is desire and heart and they play together as a team. If UNC could continuously do the same, they would be unstoppable. But that is the reason they were stuck in the NIT last year. We’ll see what the season holds for both teams when the tournament begins…Good luck.

The reason Dook hates Carolina is because when they see Carolina it reminds them they aren’t the best. The reason why Carolina loves to play Duke is because they are the best competition Carolina has, the game would be boring without them. The key word is respect. When the game is not respected you lose.
Everyone keeps harping on IF Kyrie was playing. He is out and there is nothing that can be done about it. Let’s face it, a win is a win no matter how you get it or how much you win by. Yeah UNC did not make it to the dance last year, but only because our freshmen weren’t prepared and ready at the time. So what, I accept that fact. The same will more than likely go for Duke next season. Will all you duke fans accept that or will you still have a sour taste in your mouth simply because UNC has rolled up Duke when everyone thought we would not make it. We started off slow, but we made a hard run late in the season and have proved they deserve to be where they are.

Keith that is what your mouth says. Dean Smith is the greatest. Game for game and time for time Dean beats CK every time. Dean retired early because he had nothing else to prove. If he stayed he would be rubbing CK face into the Heel of the Heels. Duke is the black spot on the Heels foot. History will show that Roy Williams will surpass CK winning % easily when all is said and done. Because he is a Tarheel. The only reason they stunk last year is because they lacked a quality point guard to feed the ball to their big guys. That has been addressed, it is game on. We can do it without our seniors, unlike Duke. Duke keeping the title? You sound too confident when the heels are in town.

Oh I can hear it now. Nolan Smith got hurt tonight! Lets hope he makes it back in time for the NCAA Tourny or all we are gonna hear is, “Well if Nolan hadn’t of got hurt….!!!” “Well if we had Kyrie and Nolan…..!!!!!” If If If. Us Carolina fans can make the same argument if your gonna make excuses. We lost Will Graves before the season even started, Larry WHO? bailed on us in the middle of the season, and Reggie Bullock got injured at the Maryland game and is out for the season. UNC only has 8 scholorship players available the rest of the way so I don’t wanna hear any dook fans making excuses about their team. To the person who said Dook is a way better team than Carolina…Funny. We let you guys come back on us at Hansbrough Indoor Stadium after running you out of your own building in the first half but thats alright…we shot 52% for the game compared to Dook’s 36%. We can go inside with Henson and Zeller and outside with Barnes, Strickland, and McDonald..with Marshall always finding the open man. Face it Dook fans your team isn’t that great this year. If the 3 ball isn’t falling then your not gonna win the game. I have a lot of respect for Nolan Smith and he is a great leader, but I’m just stating facts. GO HEELS!

That was the most lop sided officiating I’ve seen since the Carolina/Kansas game in the final four three years ago. The refs must be Duke fans or Carolina haters, have they ever heard of reaching in. They Mugged Carolina from start to finish, Carolina got touch fouls. Sliding into charges. It set the tone for the game. What a cheap way to win a game.
