The 2010 NIT Basketball Tournament bracket was released following the 2010 NCAA Basketball tournament bracket on Selection Sunday. The #1 seeds for the 2010 NIT are Illinois, Arizona State University, Virginia Tech, and Mississippi State. UAB, Cincinnati, Memphis, and Ole Miss were other notable NIT teams that were on the NCAA tournament bubble up until the final days of Championship week. The following is the opening round of the NIT tournament which is single elimination play. If you plan on attending the quarterfinals, semifinals, or championship game of the tournament, they will be held at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan, New York.
